  I almost didn't write a review because once you go you won't go back, so I didn't think it mattered. We had a horrible experience with Dr.Alahakoon.
  
  Dr. Indika Alahakoon is more concerned about money than treatment. She is very cold, uncaring and emotionless doctor. She would constantly make me wait 2-3 hours to see her and would spend a few minutes with me. She books multiple patients at the same time slot and make you wait. Then she'll rush in like you're some kind of Formula One driver making a pit stop. Next thing you know, she's already out the door.
  
  Dr Alahakoon’s waiting room at Westmead are like chicken cages and all patients crammed together and never sees patients on time and with super long wait times. She refers her patients for scans to her own Centre for Women’s Ultrasound at Hawkesbury Road, Westmead. She is more concerned in making money ($$$) and becoming an overnight millionaire.
  
  Obstetricians are supposed to be aiding in the wonderful experience of bringing forth a new child into the world. Besides Dr. Indika Alahakoon’s academic and medical qualifications, as an obstetrician she lacks in personal qualities, both emotional and physical towards her patients. I hope maybe with time and with more experience she will humble herself and be compassionate, show empathy and sensitivity towards her patients.
  
  For my next pregnancy I will not (NEVER) be coming back to see her and will do my research and get my GP to refer me to an Obstetrician who is caring, who has emotions and shows empathy and is compassionate towards the patients.
